A Marxist-Humanist perspective on Stuart Hall’s communication theory

Abstract At the end of his life, Stuart Hall called for reengagement Cultural Studies and Marxism. This paper contributes to this task. It analyses Hall’s works on communication media. The goal is read in a manner that can inform renewal Marxist Humanism development Marxist-Humanist theory communication. involves reconstructing elements approach, criticising certain aspects work, through engagement developing new elements. article’s analysis media conducted four steps.
